Discover Your Forest engages youth and adults through field trips and programs, to build an understanding of our forests and create the next generation of environmental stewards. Ways to Give

Annual Fund
Donating to our annual fund is the easiest way to support Discover Your Forest.  The fund provides support that helps sustain day-to-day operations, a robust programming calendar, educational programs, and funds our greatest needs.  Donations are accepted at any dollar level and every contribution is deeply appreciated.  Please note that gifts of $500 or more are recognized in our Annual Report.

Membership
You can show your support for the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forest and Crooked River National Grassland by becoming a member of Discover Your Forest.  Members receive great benefits like exclusive ranger-led snowshoe and hiking excursions, free lantern rentals at Lava River Cave and much more.  Even better, your membership funds go toward education, conservation and interpretive efforts on our local National Forests. These memberships make great gifts for the forest enthusiasts in your life!

Corporate Giving
Become a corporate partner and support Discover Your Forest through event sponsorship, in-kind support, donations for silent auctions and raffles and more.  One-time sponsorships are available for our major annual event fundraisers (Stars Over Newberry and Backcountry Film Festival).  Other program sponsorship opportunities can be developed to match the interests of your organization.  Please note that gifts of $500 or more are recognized in our Annual Report.

Planned Gifts
Planned gifts include bequests through a will or trust, gifts of real estate, life insurance or other assets.  Gifts like these help ensure that Discover Your Forest remains a source of education and inspiration for generations to come.  Please note that gifts of $500 or more are recognized in our Annual Report.
