Discover Your Northwest
Discover Your Forest operates as a DBA (doing business as) under our parent non-profit, Discover Your Northwest. Discover Your Northwest provides crucial operational and financial support making all of our work possible.
US Forest Service
Discover Your Forest is the official non-profit partner of the Deschutes and Ochoco National Forests and Crooked River Grasslands. We work side by side with these agencies reach thousands of visitors each year in support of education, volunteerism and conservation of our regions special places.
Children’s Forest of Central Oregon
Discover Your Forest is a key partner of the Children’s Forest of Central Oregon. CFCO provides a network of outdoor places and programs dedicated to moving all children along a continuum of learning, exploration and healthy living through engagement with nature.
Vámonos Outside
The purpose of Vámonos Outside is to advance equity and access to the outdoors for the Latinx community in Central Oregon. Vámonos Outside seeks to provide culturally-specific strategies that address barriers to outdoor access for Latinx populations, and also shift the narrative for outdoor engagement to be more inclusive.
Deschutes Trails Coalition
The DTC includes representatives from the conservation, business, tourism, and trail-user communities who work together to make recommendations to envision and create a sustainable trail system on the Deschutes National Forest.
Ochoco Trails
Ochoco Trails is a community-based coalition dedicated to building and maintaining a sustainable non-motorized trail system that offers a desirable range of experiences, while protecting and enhancing forest resources for future generations.
Public Land Stewards: Bend
Public Land Stewards of Bend is an organization whose mission is to protect all land user access by keeping public lands accessible and protected. Through stewardship events, they engage the community by hosting large scale cleanups, acting as a resource to support and initiate other organizations doing similar work, providing education to the public about land stewardship, and furthering accessibility on our public lands for all user groups.
